On what I walk to see...

"Objects do not have any intrinsic meaning- that meaning is conferred on them by us- and that different people, and the same person at different times, may confer different meanings on the same object." (Hammersley, 1989, p. 135)

St. Paul and them canons on Mount Fortress: Google earth view

Put this up simply for the sake of wanting to view it using google earth plug-in... lol

Too many pictures in one location... as a result, sort of difficult to see them pictures.

But... just a different means of recounting the journey, I guess... (took more a far longer time to get this google earth plug-in thing right then to climb up da pony hill though.... lol)

Water dance at Lincoln Center the day the water main broke

It took me hours to go from 110th and Broadway down to Lincoln Center on Sept. 19th, 2011- not knowing that that the subway systems also got crippled by the water main break as I was crippling aimlessly away from my Upper West side.

I think I might have heard something about the disruption in the subway services when I went to get my metrocard recharged at the 72nd street station.  However, I paid it no mind because there is no disability access at 110th station, which makes busing a better option.

Not to mention, my psychotic symptoms were having a field trip... as a result, I was in a phase of paying no nothing no mind anyways.  lol

Somehow, I landed at Lincoln center and spent hours messmorized by the water going up and down da fountain at Lincoln Center.

I actually took off because my body was getting really tired.  In addition, it was not a good idea for me to be hanging on the outside in the night when my psychotic symptoms were out of my control.

Unfortunately, the buses were sooooo full and there was no way I could get myself into them buses.  I, thus, decided to get back to the fountain and stared at the water dance some more.

It was not until much later, and, after I went into Bed, Bath and Beyond to get my once a day vitamins did I bumped into this lady I saw in the park often.

She asked me how I was...  I complained about somehow the buses were too full and I couldn't get home.

If I recall correctly though my memories aren't so good nowadays, so she had me informed... "The water main broke."  That was the reason why.

Right afterwards, a not-so-crowded M104 came and I finally could get back home.

It is not until today did I first see the clips of the havoc caused by the water main break... OMG... the street looks almost like a creek...

Diva's lament and them cherry blossoms in Riverside Park

It was the other day when I was doing my diva's lament about how I was too busy doing God knows what before the accident and not making it to see the cherry blossoms either in Riverside park.

Down the memory lane today, I went back to the old pix I took all the way back... to years before the accident... and found something strange in the picture...

What the heck? 8-O

Don't them things looking mighty like cherries? 8-O

Ding ding tram in Hong Kong

Because my visit to St. Paul and them canons on Mount Fortress killed my dear body really bad, yours having a lot of difficulties moving had to figure a way out to see Hong Kong yesterday-- with the solution- taking the tram to the far east on da town Shau Kei Wan 筲箕灣 to visit, and, taking the tram to come back to Causeway bay.

On my tram ride back from Shau Kei Wan 筲箕灣 back to Causeway Bay 銅鑼灣, the tram was jammed packed. Yet, I tried very hard to listen to the ding ding ding...

Despite of my propensity for tinnitus and auditory hallucinations, I think I heard it... or did I? 8-O lol

Above the clouds the sun shines

Believe me if I tell you that the skies are blue and the sun was shining today in Hong Kong or in Taiwan though others might tell you it was overcast with drizzles.

Roses are red (can't prove that).  Yet, the skies are blue and the sun is shining in the skies. I have pictures and clips to prove it..

Aren't them skies blue and the sun shines.

St. Paul and them canons on Mount Fortress in Macau

Been thinking about visiting John in upperwest side.  Yet, my biggest accomplishment today was I went all the way up with four legs to visit Mr. Paul in Macau.

To legs on the floor, left hand holding on to my cane while right hand pulling myself up by holding on to the handrail, where some birds went to the toilet on at point.

By the time I got up to by the Paul, my body was gone.

After resting for some time, so I thought, "Now that I am up here and the body is deemed to be in a state of a piece of crap.  Might as well go further up to visit Paul.

All that's left with St. Paul was the front.

After I walked into the door, there was the sky right above, which made it something interesting to feel.  I actually like it quite a bit..

Inside of St. Paul
Thereafter, so I thought, yet again, now the state of my body is not reversible in split second and it ain't like I live next door, might as well see whether I could get further up to see them canons in Mount Fortress.  Not to mention, body condition goes down south all too often, how often do I get to be in Macau? Not to mention, the trip in Hong Kong and Macau ends on Sunday, all that I have to do is to pop my pain meds and hold on to another day before I get back to do my physical therapy etc.

And, thank God, there were escalators going up to them canons though there were some more painfully inevitable stairs that I had to conquer, or to be conquered- more exact.  lol

Them Canons taken by my canon lol

Regardless, I made it to see them canons at the fortress.

More pictures of St. Paul and them canons

En route, many a fine gentleman and lady stopped by to ask me how I was since I was on 3, if not 4 legs, while trying to move forward.  I guess, no number of words could describe what they saw especially when I only walked but saw not how I moved myself... 8-O lol

HKFA -- Asian Challenge Cup in Hong Kong Stadium from afar

Watched the HKFA -- Asian Challenge Cup in Hong Kong Stadium today... sort of... from my brother-in-law's balcony.

Guess it marks the first time for me to watch a game in Hong Kong? lol

Unfortunately, my dear canon camera is not all that high quality... hope you can find some little people running around on the field...
